With over 800 members and no end in sight to the number of great nannies we will be welcoming to the Island, we thought it would be beneficial if we posted some basic guidelines to make sure everyone has the best time possible during their stay.

1. Play nice. Have fun. Nanny Island is a place to make friends and offer support. We do not tolerate flaming and we reserve the right to vote those who do off the Island.

2. Do not post photos of your charges unless you have permission from your employers.

3. Please, no more than 10 pictures in your photo gallery. We do apologize for the restriction but space is tight on the Island especially as we are growing. The site will start getting very slow if we gobble up too much bandwidth. Those of you who already have more than 10 photos, we would appreciate it if you would pare them down to 10.

4. Please no job postings. The founder of Nanny Island is the owner of NannyClassifieds.com. If you know a family that is looking for someone, please tell them about Nannyclassifieds.com. It's what pays the bills for Nanny Island, so we appreciate your help in keeping the old girl afloat.
